The social media double standard is alive an well against Republicans and in favor of Democrats. Twitter has refused to label a deceptive Biden video as “manipulated media,” even though the video was clearly manipulated.
The deceptive campaign video was tweeted by the Biden campaign on March 3, 2020, and it attacked Trump over his reaction to the c*ron*virus. Biden spread the big lie that’s been going around social media that the president said “coronavirus … this is their new hoax” at a campaign rally last month.
The problem is, president never said it. What he said was the media coverage over-hyping it was the Democrat’s new hoax, not the virus itself. Trump even went out of his way to make it very clear he wasn’t talking about the virus itself, after the Democrats began spreading that lie.
The reason Twitter won’t give the lying ad the label? They’re going with a “technicality” that they wouldn’t ever have given to Trump, saying because of the date it was posted. Twitter came up with a new policy that some content would be labeled as “manipulated media” if it looks like it was edited deceptively. Twitter has pointed out that their policy started March 5th and Biden’s video was posted on March 3rd. AS IF it’s perfectly fine when Twitter users see the tweet after March 5th. Like the date makes a difference,
Twitter is sticking by their decision even though the Washington Post, miraculously, gave it a Four Pinocchios fact check rating on March 13.
“Ultimately, the seriousness of the coronavirus outbreak, the fact that Trump had clarified his comments on the matter before the ad was released, and the blatant way the Biden camp isolated his remarks about the American Dream pushed us to Four Pinocchios,” according to WaPo. “Campaigns must be willing to make their case without resorting to video manipulation.”
We can't sit by and lose this country to Donald Trump. Today, we take it back — together.

From The Daily Caller:
Biden’s manipulated video has sparked backlash from the Trump campaign, who has called on Twitter to label it as “manipulated media.” The campaign accused the social media platform of ignoring a letter sent Monday about the situation.
Twitter previously told the Daily Caller that they “received the request and intend to respond.”
Biden’s video contains a second manipulated section that has not been fact-checked by WaPo. The video shared by the former vice president also suggests that Trump called a group of white supremacists “very fine people.”
Trump’s comments during the deadly 2017 Charlottesville rally, where he said there are “very fine people on both sides,” has been brought up by Biden’s campaign in the past. The former vice president claimed in February that Trump has “yet once to condemn white supremacy, the neo-Nazis.” This was confirmed to be false by Fact Check, as Trump has condemned white supremacy on more than one occasion.
The Fake News media, Democrats, and social media will do now what they did to Mitt Romney in 2012 and John McCain in 2008. From now until Election Day, everything Trump does will be wrong and everything Biden does will be good. They will do this, no matter how blatantly obvious it becomes, until Election Day in November.
It’s the job of Trump supporters to correct the record whenever they lie, daily, relentlessly, and loudly, until the day we vote.
