President Donald Trump has had it with the way the media has been treating him during the coronavirus pandemic.
And on Monday he lashed out at several reporters, including Fox News reporter Kristin Fisher who pressed him on testing.
“Hospitals reported that their most significant challenges centered on testing and caring for patients with known or suspected COVID-19 and keeping staff safe,” she said.

She said, “testing is still a big issue in this country,” when the president became incensed with her negative questioning.
“We are the federal government. We are not supposed to stand on street corners during testing. They go to doctors. They go to hospitals. They go to the state,” he said.
“We have a brand-new testing system that we develop very quickly and that’s your result. And you should say congratulations, great job, instead of being so horrid in the way that you ask a question,” he said.
Fisher was talking about a report from Health and Human Services Inspector General Christi Grimm who said that there were “severe shortages of testing supplies and extended waits for test results limited hospitals’ ability to monitor the health of patients and staff.”
A short time later the president got into a heated exchange with ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl when he told him Grimm’s name.
“It’s just wrong. Did I hear the word ‘inspector general?’ Really? It’s wrong,” the president said, growing more annoyed.
“It’s — where did it come from? What is his name?” President Trump asked Fisher.
Karl told the president Grimm’s name and mentioned that she was a holdover from the administration of former President Obama.

Jonathan Karl has been anything but honest with his reporting since November 2016.

You mean the Obama administration?” the president said. “Thank you for telling me that. See there’s a typical fake news deal. You’re a third-rate reporter and what you just said is a disgrace, OK?”
“Thank you very much, Jon. You will never make it,” the president said, as he moved on to the next question.
