Sneaky Provision In Spending Bill Protects Illegal Aliens and MS-13 Gang Members From Deportation

The new spending bill needs to be stopped. There are so many things wrong with it no conservative should vote for it.

One of the most egregious measures in the bill that says that any illegal alien living in the same household as UACs  (Unaccompanied Alien Children) sponsors, potential sponsors, or members of a household of a sponsor are protected from deportation.

That means if that household has n MS-13 member or the member of any other gang, they cannot be deported as long as there is a UAC living in the house.

This will prompt gangs to sponsor kids in order to be deportation-proof.

Here’s what bothers me. That measure was bipartisan.

Republicans joined with Democrats to push this through.

What the heck were they thinking?

They did this back in February, and we are just now finding it out?

This is the type of incrementalism that will lead to full amnesty for all 22 million illegal aliens living in this country and will prevent Republicans from ever winning another presidential election.

The wall funding is another part of the bill that truly is horrible. It allots less than $1.4 billion for a border wall but comes with a ton of restrictions.

From Breitbart News:

Also included is just under $1.4 billion for the “construction of barrier system along the southwest border,” though the measure comes with stipulations that bans any border wall from being built within:

  • The Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge
  • The Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park
  • The La Lomita Historical Park
  • The National Butterfly Center
  • The Vista del Mar Ranch tract of the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge
  • Historical cemeteries

Similar to the past two spending packages, this deal bans the Trump administration from building any barrier that has not been previously used in 2017 or prior.

Like February’s deal, local elected officials of often left-wing border communities are given the authority to adapt border wall construction plans if they object to the Department of Homeland Security’s designs.
