Steven Ahle| Judge Andrew Napolitano says the jury foreperson, Tomeka Hart, could be heading for prison.
He says that when the judge asked her questions about possible biases, she must have lied or else she could not have been picked for the jury. That is a serious felony and would require the case to be retried.
Or would it?
With new prosecutors, they may decide not to retry him at all.
The problem goes beyond Hart. Others on the jury were equally conflicted, including the wife of a current member of the DOJ who was involved in bringing the case against Stone. How many other jurors did they influence to vote guilty?
Hart is an activist who has posted many anti-Trump screeds, including the tired old one about him being a racist.
If the law is truly fair and Stone must be retried, they must change the venue, change the judge, and force the prosecution to furnish proof that Russia hacked the DNC emails.
The jury foreperson in Roger Stone’s trial probably hid her bias, Judge Andrew Napolitano told Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Napolitano appeared Thursday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to discuss revelations that Tomeka Hart, who led the jury that convicted Stone on seven counts of making false statements, witness tampering and obstruction, may have been biased against Stone from the outset.
