Opinion Editorial: ICYMI … Now do you see why they were so worried? I'm sure you know who John Brennan is by now, but just in case …
John Brennan is Obama's former CIA Director, who admitted to voting for Communist Party Presidential candidate, Gus Hall during the Cold War, but according to Politifact, that does not make him a former Communist.
This is a great example of how ‘unbiased' F—B–k's ‘fact checkers' are, in my opinion, of course. Politifact claims that the statement that ‘John Brennan is a former Communist' is ‘Mostly False.' To quote them:
“We found Brennan has acknowledged voting for a communist presidential candidate in 1976. That does not mean he was a member of the Communist Party.”
So, apparently who you vote for does not dictate your political opinions or affiliations, at least according to how I interpreted this Politfact article.
The Facebook ‘Fact checking partner' went on to defend Brennan and try and create daylight between him and the Communist voting record by stating:
“Long before his appointment as CIA director in 2013, Brennan took a required polygraph test before entering the agency.”
“According to Brennan, the polygrapher asked him, “Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the U.S.?”
Brennan said he was apprehensive — he had voted for Gus Hall for president in 1976, which was while the Cold War was underway. (The Cold War is generally defined as running from 1947 to 1991.)
The New York Times reported Hall earned more support from American voters in his 1976 presidential campaign than in his other three. He won 58,992 votes, putting him in eighth place, behind candidates from the Democratic, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, American Independent, American and Socialist Workers parties.
“I froze, because I was getting so close to coming into CIA and said, ‘OK, here's the choice, John. You can deny that, and the machine is probably going to go, you know, wacko, or I can acknowledge it and see what happens,'” CNN has quoted Brennan as saying. (We searched for video but did not find it.)
Brennan told the polygraph operator that he had voted for Hall, but added that he was never a member of the Communist Party. Speaking at the conference, Brennan said he was relieved to have been accepted into the CIA, because he worried about having compromised his chances by being forthcoming.
“I said I was neither Democratic or Republican, but it was my way, as I was going to college, of signaling my unhappiness with the system, and the need for change. I said I'm not a member of the Communist Party, so the polygrapher looked at me and said, ‘OK,' and when I was finished with the polygraph and I left and said, ‘Well, I'm screwed.'”
Brennan used the anecdote to make a point about room for diversity in the CIA ranks.
“So if back in 1980, John Brennan was allowed to say, ‘I voted for the Communist Party with Gus Hall' … and still got through, rest assured that your rights and your expressions and your freedom of speech as Americans is something that's not going to be disqualifying of you as you pursue a career in government,” CNN reported him as saying.
Does any of this make Brennan a member of the Communist Party at the time? No”
So Politifact says it's ok that Brennan voted Communist because a lot of Americas did in that election and a lot of Americans were mad at the establishment:
“In 1976, Brennan was studying political science at Fordham University. This was the first election after the Watergate scandal, which left many Americans disillusioned with American politics.”
Could you imagine these ‘fact checkers' twisting themselves in this many knots to defend a conservative? Personally, I can't.
With that background out of the way, today's story is about Brennan's Tweet which, in my opinion, seems to be a signal to the D*** S**** to launch more attacks on Trump. This appears to me to be a desperate attempt to bring Trump down before he is able to expose all the crimes which we suspect the Obama admin, and it's intel apparatus, of committing against the Trump campaign and Presidency.
If John Brennan was a, if not THE, leader of the suspected ‘coup' against President Trump, and by default, our Republic itself. But hey, that's …
A reminder to federal officials:
There is no limit on the number of individuals who can use the whistleblower statute.
If you think you were involved in unlawful activity as a result of a directive from Mr. Trump or someone doing his bidding, now is the time to report it.

Does this not sound like a call to those still under the D*** S****'s employ in the government to do all they can to take Trump our prior to declass and the 2020 election? That's how I read it, but what do I know, right?
30 years ago, could you even imagine an America in which the CIA director is a man who openly admits to voting for the Communist Party?
Knowing what we do about how many Communist regimes have been ruled (with an iron first and 0 respect for privacy rights) it seems like a pretty reasonable assumption that Brennan was able to justify, to himself, what we believe to be a ‘coup' attempt against President Trump and prior to that, a sabotage efforts against his campaign, complete with an ‘insurance policy' in case he did win. To be clear, that is my opinion, not establish fact.
This is just my theory, all the facts are out there, I will let you decide for yourself what really happened. Hopefully AG Barr has the stones to uncover exactly what did transpire under Obama's watch.
