CORRECTION: The original title implied that Michael Bloomberg suggested Americans should withhold medical treatment from all elderly patients. Bloomberg actually only mentioned a single example of a 95 year old American with cancer.
Additionally, this article did not clarify that Bloomberg specifically stated PROSTATE cancer in a 95 year old may not be subject to treatment.
Michael Bloomberg brings back the death squad to healthcare.
He says that we will go bankrupt unless we deny medical attention to the elderly.
It's funny how this never becomes an issue until we begin talking about government-run healthcare.
Is that because we have to deny our elderly healthcare in order to give free healthcare to up to 22 million illegal aliens?
If Bloomberg thinks this is the type of plan that will draw the voters to him, he has another think coming.
It's easy for the Democrats to deny you healthcare based on your age because as long as they are in Congress, their healthcare is taken care of no matter what age they are.
But what's next? Deny healthcare to people who are overweight? To people who smoke? To people with Republican voter registration cards?
I guess Bloomberg calls this his Medicare For Some plan.
What do you expect from a man who made buying sodas containing 32 or more ounces as illegal?
When Big Gulps are outlawed, only outlaws will have Big Gulps.
The entire thing was ridiculous because you could buy two 16-ounce drinks instead.
A new video posted on Sunday shows former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg explaining how healthcare will “bankrupt us,” unless we deny care to the elderly.
Mike Bloomberg: All of these costs keep going up. Nobody wants to pay anymore money. And at the rate we’re going healthcare is going to bankrupt us.
So not only do we have a problem we’ve got to sit here and say which things we’re going to do and which things we’re not. Nobody wants to do that.
If you show up with prostrate cancer and you’re 95 years old, we should say go and enjoy, you’ve had a long life, there’s no cure and we can’t do anything.
If you’re a young person, we should do something about it. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”
Spoken like a true heartless socialist.
