Michigan residents are mad as hell and they won’t take it anymore. Tomorrow, April 15th, a group of residents are holding an “Operation Gridlock.”
They are urging people to show up driving anything that is legal and honking their horns as they obstruct traffic around the state capital.
Michigan Gov Gretchen Whitmer ran on a platform of #fixthedamnroads.” She has taken no steps to fix Michigan’s infrastructure.
It seems like every day that she is banning the sale of something new and putting people out of work.
1. Limit the number of customers in the store at one time (excluding employees) to 4 people per 1,000 square feet of customer floor space. The amount of customer floor space must be calculated to exclude store areas that are closed under subprovision (2) of this subsection.
2. Close areas of the store—by cordoning them off, placing signs in aisles, posting prominent signs, removing goods from shelves, or other appropriate means—that are dedicated to the following classes of goods:
A. Carpet or flooring.
C. Garden centers and plant nurseries.
There is now a recall petition circulating against Whitmer that currently has 230,700 signatures. A little over 1 million valid signatures are needed to force a vote on replacing her.
Meanwhile, Whitmer is blaming the DeVos family, which she says is partially funding tomorrow’s protest. She said:
Whitmer said on Monday, Fox 17 reported.
I also would just say, I think it is this group is funded in large part by the DeVos family and I think it’s really inappropriate for a sitting member of the United States president’s cabinet to be waging political attacks on any governor, but obviously on me here at home.
I think that they should disavow it and encourage people to stay home and be safe.
The DeVos family includes Trump’s Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos. The family and the organizers both deny that the DeVos family has not spent a dime on the protest. Whitmer knows this but she is posturing in an attempt to get Biden to put her on the ticket.
Today’s visit to the Garden Store. This one isn’t on line like the Big Box stores. Thanks Fuehrer of Michigan Frau Whitmer! You can’t buy anything lawn or garden related. pic.twitter.com/LFi0ypEp87
